CIIA&CFA Investment and Financial Analyst

Training of investment and financial analysts for work in the banking and financial sector, in industry and at the stock market

students are to:

Conduct complex financial analysis

Analyze corporate financial statements. Calculate yield of corporate securities. Provide evaluation of internal and external liquidity of the company

Make efficient investment decisions

Analyze market multipliers. Analyze exchange information. Evaluate financial stability of investors

Model and forecast market value of the company

Select optimal valuation methods. Develop forecasting models. Analyze earning power of the company

  • To use hedging instruments of financial risks

Orientation to the requirements of four international certification

CFA, CIIA

Preparation for international certification in the Russian and English languages

CFA, CIIA

Taking a national certification exam in the Russian Guild of Investment and Financial Analysts

Using the set of training materials "SchweserNotes™ for the CFA® Exam"

Materials are updated on an annual basis.

 

  • Workshops on solving examination tasks in the Russian and English languages
  • Employment assistance with the help of the Career Center of the National Institute of Financial Executives
  • Development of the graduation project in compliance with the requirements of CFA Institute

Schedule.

 2 evenings + Saturday
  • Admission conditions: higher education; interview; questionnaire
  • Venue: Campus of the RANEPA (Moscow, 82-84 Prospect Vernadskogo)
  • Academic progress assessment: Credits and exams; a qualification exam in financial management; defense of a graduation paper of applied character; a qualification exam in IFRS
  • Main forms of study: lectures; seminars; practical classes; business games; case studies; workshops on task solving; thematic research; preparation for an exam for international certificate of financial and investment analyst (CFA, CIIA)
