In 1987, Elena Mikhailova graduated from the Moscow Institute of Management named after Sergo Ordzhonikidze.
In 1994, she defended her thesis on industrial management.
She has held a number of master classes in marketing pricing, in particular, together with the publishing house “Kommersant” and the magazine “The secret of the company”.
She participated in corporate training programmes for managerial staff of companies as follows: Rosatom, Lukoil, CROC, Formosa, Yukos, Tatneft, Gazprom, Gazprom Gazenergoset, Magnitogorsk Metallurgical Combine, EvrazHolding, JackPot, Svyazinvest, Dill, International group “Promeksim”, National trading network “Soyuzpromimpeks” and others.
She consults a number of Russian and Ukrainian companies on strategic marketing and management issues.
She is the author of the following courses: “Pricing”, “Long-term customer consolidation technology”, “Sales techniques on the B2B market”, “Marketing Research”, “Strategic Marketing”, “The new marketing paradigm” and other courses for MBA, EMBA and DBA programmes at the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, the Higher School of Economics, Moscow International Higher School of Business “MIRBIS”, International University (Moscow), State University of Management. She is the author of the course “Pricing strategies in marketing”, certified by INSAM.
Ms. Mikhailova is the author of over 140 publications on the issues of industrial management, strategic marketing, international marketing, benchmarking and learning modern technologies, in particular, case-method.
