Biography: 

In 1981, Sergey Popov graduated from the Faculty of Economics of the Lomonosov Moscow State University with a degree in “Economic Cybernetics”.
 
He had internships at the Society of Appraisers, Moscow, Russia; St. Petersburg International Management Institute, Russia; Copyright rate M. Porter: Competing Through Strategy Leadership, etc.
 
He conducts seminars on the unique copyright technique developed particularly for today’s Russian conditions, with the elements and use of special teaching method of action learning. He has successfully conducted more than 100 workshops in Russia and abroad on the topics: “The management strategy of a company", «The company's strategy and change management," "Optimal innovative component of the company's strategy," etc.
 
He worked as an independent expert and consultant for various companies, including aircraft manufacturing concern (AMIC) "Dry" NPK "Irkut" (earlier - IAPO), CJSC "BETA AIR», Federal State Unitary Enterprise "Izhevsk mechanical plant", Fifth Generation Company of the Wholesale Market of electricity (OGK-5); Inkom, Privatbank, Moscomprivatbank; Sibur, ECONICA, MTT, PCU, CICB, NPK "Vector", SC "All-Russia Institute of light alloys", Stroyinvest,  GC "Montazh-stroy", the state corporation "Rosatom".
 
He reads "Strategic Management" course for MS, MBA, EMBA students.
 
He is the author of more than 30 scientific and educational works devoted to issues of strategic management, innovation and change management.
